Alarm systems are passive safety features. They do not avoid any event of intrusion, fire or any unusual condition, but if it is present, they are able to notify locally by activating sirens, strobes, communicating the event to an Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) or private telephones . It consists of several elements such as alarm panel, sensors and detectors, these are programmed to automatically take action and give a different answer to each event. For example in case of an intrusion, they can activate a siren and send a signal to the Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC). If it detects the presence of smoke or other toxic gas, activate the siren with a different tone for the occupants of the property to distinguish between a theft or fire, these events are reported to the Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC), which shall transmit to the different police forces to support the contingency. • Alarm Panel. Is that where they connect the sensors, detectors and has outputs for siren or communicator. The programming is stored in the system. • Keyboard. It is the interface that helps users to take honeywell control systems of your computer, allows you to arm, disarm and the installer to program. Currently most alarm panels can be programmed by direct connection interfaces to the computer. • Motion Detector (PIR).
